<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator in which ions generated by an ion-generating element are prevented from disappearing near the ion-generating element, and high-density ions can be supplied to indoor space, and an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The ion generator comprises an ion-generating element having an induction electrode and a discharge electrode for generating ions between the induction electrode and itself.
