<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing machine for extinguishing sparks at a desired position even when intense sparks are generated. <P>SOLUTION: The finishing machine 1 includes a pond forming member 51 for forming a fluid pond P so as to scatter sparks generated when finishing a workpiece W by a tool 33.
