<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device capable of heating the folding part of a sheet with an appropriate quantity of heat for the thickness of an actual sheet bundle. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature controller determines a heating condition to a heating device on the basis of a difference between an inter-roller first distance measured by an inter-roller distance measuring device when the sheet is pushed between a first folding roller and a second folding roller by a folding blade before rotation by the first folding roller and the second folding roller, and an inter-roller second distance measured by the inter-roller distance measuring device when a predetermined time elapses after the start of the heating of the first folding roller by the heating device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
