<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of luminance of a flexible surface lighting device even in a curved state by stably retaining a reflection sheet arranged at a back face side of a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the flexible surface lighting device, a floor plate 34 of a housing frame 26 covers a zone surrounded by a frame section 26a from the back face side of the light guide plate 12, and retains the reflection sheet 16, together with the light guide plate 12, is held from the back face side of the light guide plate 12. When bending the flexible surface lighting device 32, the floor plate 34 follows the curvature of the light guide plate 12 by easily deforming since the floor plate 34 has flexibility greater than that of the frame section 26a, and the reflection sheet 16 can be stably retained at the back face side of the light guide plate 12. Light incident on the light guide plate 12 from a light source unit arranged on a side end face of the light guide plate 12 can be returned to the light guide plate 12 by the reflection sheet 16 even though the light is leaked out at the back face side of the light guide plate 12 in the process of conveying the light inside the light guide plate 12, and deterioration of luminance of the light can be restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
