<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit which is manufactured easily and can reduce manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: In a gas sensor unit 170, a protruded member 9 of an output terminal 15 protruded to a rear end side of a gas sensor 1 ensures electrical conduction between a terminal fitting 7 and a cap terminal 71 by bringing first and second contact pieces 147, 149 protruded from a plate-like part 133 into contact with the protruded member 9 in the state of fitting into a through hole 145 of the cap terminal 71. Furthermore, a lead wire 73 is connected in a radial direction of the cap terminal 71, the protruded member 9 is inserted into a through hole 145 of the plate-like member 133 of the cap terminal 71 to which the lead wire 73 is connected, and the electrical conduction between the cap terminal 71 and the terminal fitting 7 can be ensured by the protruded member 9, thereby simplifying a structure of the cap terminal 71.
