COSMETIC COMPOSITION AND MAKEUP METHOD FOR THE SKIN WHITENING COMPRISING THE STYRAX OBASSIA EXTRACTS

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing a Styrax obassia extract is provided to suppress melagnogenesis and tyrosinase activity and to resolve pigmentation problem. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains 0.00001-25.0 wt% of Styrax obassia extract. The extract is prepared using water, anhydrous or hydrous low carbon number alcohol of C1-C4, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, glycerine, acetone, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, chloroform, diethyl ether, dichloromethane, hexane, or a mixture thereof. The extract is prepared using microorganisms such as Lactobacillus, Bipidobacterium, Streptococcus, Leuconostoc, Pediococcus, Lactococcus, or a mixture thereof. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a solution, a suspension, an emulsion, a paste, a gel, a cream, a powder, a soap, a surfactant-containing cleansing, oil, a powder foundation, an emulsion foundation, a wax foundation, or a spray.
