<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the drain structure of a heat exchanger that can prevent the heat exchanging capability from decreasing by suppressing metal corrosion due to immersion of the heat exchanger in water collected in a drain pan for receiving dew condensation water of dew condensation on the heat exchanger, produced when the heat exchanger is operated as an evaporator. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 22 includes a refrigerant passage pipe 221 extended in a meandering form, and corrugate fins 224 which are made of the same metal material as the refrigerant passage pipe 221 and thermally connected between the upstream-side part and the downstream-side part of the refrigerant passage pipe 221, and exchanges heat between a refrigerant passing through the refrigerant passage pipe 221 and a fluid passing through the periphery of the fins 224. A metal plate 33 which has a lower corrosion potential than the material of the heat exchanger 22 is placed on a drain pan 30 where drain water (dew condensation water) 50 produced when the heat exchanger 22 operates as the evaporator is stored to prevent metal corrosion of the heat exchanger 22 itself through sacrificial corrosion operation of the metal plate 33 having the low corrosion potential and local battery operation even when the heat exchanger 22 is immersed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
