<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper binder which can hold a bundle of paper pieces with a relatively large paper surface area by causing forces to diffuse so as not concentrate on a specific portion of the bundle when it opens and closes, which is compact and easy to carry and is usable immediately after the paper pieces are obtained, and which can be retained with the bundle of paper pieces properly folded for storage in an organized manner. <P>SOLUTION: The paper binder includes a clamping member consisting of a strip-like, long member which has a cross-sectional surface in a shape of letter U and a fixing member which has a cross-sectional surface in a shape of letter U and is slidably attached to the clamping member. The clamping member includes a front board, a connection portion, and a back board and is so structured that the ends of the front and back boards expand with the connection portion working as the axis. Characteristically, the fixing member is slidable in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the clamping member and is biased by spring power in the direction to allow the ends of the clamping members to be narrowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
