<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing/removing material for Influenza viruses, which is helpful for the infection prevention of Influenza viruses for removing Influenza viruses at low costs and with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the adsorbing/removing material for Influenza viruses which is characterized by using carbonaceous materials obtained by carbonizing wood selected from the group consisting of oak, myrobalan, pine, cryptomeria, painted maple, and sawtooth oak at a temperature ranging from 500 to 800°C. The carbonaceous material has super-macro holes each of which has a pore diameter ranging from 2 μm to 20 μm on the basis of observation by an electron microscope on the material surface, and macro holes each of which has an average pore diameter ranging from 100 to 2,000 nm calculated by a mercury porosimetry at the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
