<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotatable-type drying device which allows for compact storage and easy handling in the field of a hanger used for drying laundry. <P>SOLUTION: A rotatable drying device comprises: a hook shaft 4; a motor case 5 having a case flange 5a at the circumference of its bottom part, the motor case 5 being attached to the bottom part of the hook shaft 4 via a screw 4a; a geared motor 6 having a motor shaft 7 and being housed in the motor case 5; a hanger ring 12 having a hanger boss 12e at its central upper part, the hanger boss 12e having a center hole into which the motor shaft 7 is inserted and being journaled to the motor shaft 7 with a screw 8; and two solar cells 10 fixed to the case flange 5a of the motor case 5 with a hinge 9, thereby allowing for rotational movement in a vertical direction when it is stored. A plurality of hangers 14 extend radially from the hanger ring 12 with an equal interval at the circumference at a level lower than the hanger ring 12 around a hook axis 4 so that the hangers can be rotatably supported.
