<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous sintered body that has high mechanical strength and an energization heating property, and can be sufficiently used as a resistant heating element. <P>SOLUTION: To obtain a porous sintered body 1, a sintered raw material mixture 7 formed by mixing aluminum powder 2, graphite powder 3, clay powder 4 for a pottery, wooden powder 5, and water and/or a binder 6 of an amount that does not cause movement of the materials due to a difference of a specific gravity is molded under pressure, and sintered in a range of 1000°C-1200°C to form a molding having a cavity in a range of 5%-50%.
