PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, a method and a program that can substantially remove aliasing effects generated in filter processing when performing image filter processing and determine a replenishment size not to increase calculation amount.

SOLUTION: The image processing system determines the replenishment size in an image filter direction of an image. The image processing system includes: an aliasing effect function acquisition section for acquiring an aliasing effect function of a frequency region filter to be a function showing a change in a space region of the aliasing effect created by frequency region filter processing on the basis of the image; and a replenishment size determination section for determining the replenishment size in the image filter direction of the image on the basis of the aliasing effect function.
