<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator and a cosmetic device in which adverse influence of a heating part onto solder used to fix a component to a circuit board is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A facial device 10 includes a heater 21 for heating water supplied from a water supply tank and a controller 30 for controlling the heater 21, and discharges steam generated by evaporating the water to the outside of a housing 11.
