<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content selling server device, a content selling system, a content selling method and a program for purchasing electronic content whose content is the same as that of merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: A store terminal 20 reads the merchandise ID of merchandise whose purchase is requested by a user and the user ID of a member card, and transmits the merchandise ID and the user ID as well as store ID to a server device 10 to store the merchandise ID, the user ID and the store ID in association. A server CPU 11 extracts all the merchandise ID associated with the user ID of a user who has logged in from a mobile terminal 30, and transmits the content ID of electronic content whose content is the same as that of the merchandise to be specified in accordance with the extracted merchandise ID as a content list to the mobile terminal 30. The mobile terminal 30 selects the content ID of the electronic content to be purchased from the content list, and transmits the content ID to the server device 10.
