<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a fuel pump that can suitably suppress a degradation in controllability for a fuel pressure in a delivery pipe due to a discharge failure of a high pressure fuel pump. <P>SOLUTION: In a situation determined that the device is under an execution of a fuel cut control in which a fuel injection from a fuel injection valve 52 is stopped, a target fuel pressure of a delivery pipe 50 is set to a fuel pressure of the delivery pipe 50 (actual fuel pressure) detected by a fuel pressure sensor 51. Moreover, when a fuel temperature in a high pressure fuel pump 16 is determined to be not lower than a predetermined temperature, and the actual fuel pressure is determined to exceed a predetermined pressure, a forcible energization stopping processing for forcibly stopping the energization to an electromagnetic solenoid 28 is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
