MASKING ANALYZER, MASKER SOUND SELECTION DEVICE, MASKING DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform masking including information masking.

SOLUTION: Autocorrelation calculation means 22 calculates an autocorrelation sequence of a linear spectrum sequence corresponding to each peak of a spectrum with respect to a first acoustic signal of a target sound and plural second acoustic signals of a mixed sound of the target sound and plural kinds of masker sounds on each frame. Correlation matrix generation means 24 generates an inter-band correlation matrix including a mutual correlation coefficient value as a factor. Index calculation means 26 calculates an index value representing similarity level between an inter-band correlation matrix of the second acoustic signal and an inter-band correlation matrix of the first acoustic signal. Selection means 40 selects any one of the plural kinds of masker sounds corresponding to the calculated index value to output a sound from a sound emitting device 42.
