<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type stepless transmission in which sliding of a servo spool is prevented even when pressure in a hydraulic cylinder drops to slide a movable sheave. <P>SOLUTION: The belt type stepless transmission 40 controls the feeding of hydraulic oil to a hydraulic cylinder 270 by means of a hydraulic servo mechanism 280. The hydraulic servo mechanism 280 includes a servo spool 283 for switching an oil path according to the operation of a shift operation implement, and a feedback spool 84 for switching the oil path in such a manner that the sliding position of an input-side movable sheave 63 is retained at a position corresponding to the sliding position of the servo spool 283. Between the hydraulic cylinder 270 and the feedback spool 84, a spool position holding mechanism is provided which includes abutting members 278F and 278R abutting on the feedback spool 84 and which allows the abutting members 278F and 278R to freely slide with respect to the movable side cylinder case 271 when pressure in the hydraulic cylinder 270 is less than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
