<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous heating element having high mechanical strength and a current-carrying heat-generating property, and usable as a resistance heating element. <P>SOLUTION: This porous heating element 1 is obtained as follows: a sintering raw material mixture 7 formed by mixing together aluminum powder 2, graphite powder 3, gairome clay powder 4, wood powder 5, and water and/or a binder 6 as much as a quantity not generating movement of the raw materials caused by a difference of each specific gravity is molded by adding pressure thereto, then sintered in the range of 1,000-1,200°C, to thereby form a mold having voids in the range of 5-50%, and generating heat by energization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
