METHOD FOR MEASURING DMP1

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring DMP1 (Dentin Matrix Protein 1) easily and accurately measuring DMP1 and having high reproducibility compared with those of existing measuring methods.

SOLUTION: A method for noninvasively quantifying ossein by using DMP1 as an index quantifies DMP1 in the blood (blood serum and plasma) or urine specimen by a sandwich method using a combination of a plurality of specific antibodies against a specified site of DMP1 that is protein produced by the bone cell. A method for diagnosing bone/joint associated diseases by the method, an early-stage reactivity confirmation method for treatment of the bone/joint associated diseases, and a kit used for the method are provided.
