<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat accumulator which has improved mountability to a vehicle and can obtains a high heat insulation performance. <P>SOLUTION: A heat accumulator 10 for a vehicle includes a columnar tank 1 including a flat end surface, and a plurality of vacuum heat insulators 2 deposited on a side surface and the end surface of the tank 1.
