摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for gyroscope devices capable of quickly providing accurate sensed rate information during startup phase after power application. <P>SOLUTION: A system for dynamic motor amplitude compensation of a gyroscope 110 during startup comprises: an a-priori motor amplitude module 120 configured to generate an a-priori motor amplitude signal 122 on the basis of a model of gyroscope motor amplitude growth during startup; a steady state scale factor module 124; and a dynamic motor amplitude compensation module 128 configured to receive the a-priori motor amplitude signal, and the steady state scale factor signal. The dynamic motor amplitude compensation module receives a measured motor amplitude signal 116 from the gyroscope and the a-priori motor amplitude signal, and outputs a time varying scale factor 130 that is applied to the sensed rate signal during a startup phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
