PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce excitation rush current without using a special transformer, thereby optimizing the capacity and the number of units of power generators to be installed in a ship and, hence, saving space in the ship.
SOLUTION: In a shipboard inverter system, voltage frequency converted by a plurality of inverters connected to a shipboard busbar are supplied to a plurality of stator coils wound on a propulsion motor. The stator coils of the propulsion motor and the inverters are separated into two groups in such a way that the respective stator coils of the propulsion motor of the first group and the load sides of the respective inverters of the first group are connected together, that the power supply sides of the inverters of the first group are connected to the shipboard busbar via a common AC reactor, that the respective stator coils of the propulsion motor of the second group and the load sides of the respective inverters of the second group are connected together, and that the power supply sides of the inverters of the second group are connected to the shipboard busbar via a common three-phase autotransformer whose primary and secondary side voltages are 30 degrees out of phase.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
