摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing material having a long rolling fatigue life. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing material satisfying the following conditions is excellent in B10 life: when the relation: [magnesium concentration]/[oxygen concentration]&le;0.2 is satisfied and the examined area is 3,000 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, the total number of oxide-based non-metal inclusions and sulfide-containing oxide-based non-metal inclusions having mean inclusion diameters of &ge;3 &mu;m is 100 pieces or less per 1,000 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>; the total number of oxide-based non-metal inclusions and sulfide-containing oxide-based non-metal inclusions having the mean inclusion diameters of &ge;10 &mu;m is 2 pieces or less per 1,000 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>; and the compositions of the oxide-based non-metal inclusions and the sulfide-containing oxide-based non-metal inclusions having the mean inclusion diameters of &ge;10 &mu;m, widths of &ge;3 &mu;m and lengths of &ge;20 &mu;m satisfy the relation: [magnesium concentration]/([aluminum concentration]+[calcium concentration])&le;0.1, wherein the mean inclusion diameter is calculated as (length&times;width)<SP POS="POST">1/2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
