<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing a discharge amount of ultrafine particles by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing device 5 accompanying the generation of a gas containing a minimum amount of an ultrafine particle component during driving; an exhaust system 80 for taking the gas into a duct 83 and discharging the taken gas to the outside of the apparatus from the duct 83; and heating means 91 and 92 for heating the duct so that a temperature at the time of discharging the gas inside the exhaust system 80 to the outside of the apparatus becomes equal to or more than a prescribed temperature at which the ultrafine particle component becomes hard to coagulate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
