<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer apparatus which appropriately displays plural items corresponding to contents of a category in a tree diagram for each of plural categories. <P>SOLUTION: A computer apparatus receives entry information related to a coded pattern read by an electronic pen and executes processing in accordance with the entry information. Reception means receives a handwritten stroke drawn on a note sheet with an electronic pen by a user. On plural note sheets, independently different coded patterns are formed and contents corresponding to plural categories are written. First display control means displays a name or a pattern indicating each of the plural categories, and category acquisition means acquires a category specified by a user from among the plural categories.
