<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater that facilitates operation to attach a vacuum heat insulator and has a heat insulation structure with small heat dissipation loss from a hot water storage tank inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water storage type water heater includes a substantially cylindrical hot water storage tank 2 which stores hot water, molded heat insulators 3, 4 which are molded in such a shape that the outer periphery surface of a body part of the hot water storage tank 2 is covered, and a vacuum heat insulator 5 which covers outer peripheral surfaces of the molded heat insulators 3, 4. The molded heat insulators 3, 4 are provided locally with projection parts 7 swelled from their outer peripheral surfaces, and when the vacuum heat insulator 5 is attached to the molded heat insulators 3, 4, the lower edge of the vacuum heat insulator 5 can be temporarily placed on the projection parts 7. The vacuum heat insulator 5 covers the molded heat insulators 3, 4 all around the outer peripheral surfaces. The projection parts 7 are provided at a plurality of places, and support the lower edge of the vacuum heat insulator 5 at the plurality of places when the vacuum heat insulator is temporarily placed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
