<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving the noise resisting performance while maintaining the uneven wear resisting performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is provided with several longitudinal grooves and at least one land installed on a tread. At least one of the lands is provided with a plurality of transverse grooves 10 whose one ends are connected to the longitudinal grooves and the other ends extend to a tire equator side. Groove wall surfaces of the longitudinal grooves include recesses 11 dented in the tire equator side and protrusions 12 which project from the recesses 11 towards at least one of the transverse grooves 10. The protrusions 12 are composed of main surfaces 13 which rise from the groove floors and inclined surfaces 14 which splice the gap between the outer edges of the main surfaces 13 and the tread edges of the lands and form more gradual inclination than the main surfaces 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
