<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration in the sensitivity of pixels or deterioration in the incident angle characteristics due to a region not having the sensitivity, when a plurality of photoelectric conversion parts arranged in one pixel are separated by that region. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor (103) has a plurality of pixels, and some of the pixels have a plurality of photoelectric conversion parts (402a, 402b), a microlens (442) and a plurality of in-layer lenses (445a, 445b) formed between the photoelectric conversion parts and the microlens and arranged integrally to correspond with the photoelectric conversion parts, respectively.
