<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance manufacturing efficiency of a line head consisting of a plurality of inkjet heads. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of inkjet heads provided in an inkjet head unit has a nozzle surface where a large number of nozzles are arranged in a matrix, an ink chamber which supplies ink to the nozzles, and wiring extending from the large number of nozzles and being led out from the nozzle surface. When a direction of one side of a quadrangular shape formed by arranging the large number of nozzles is the X direction, and a direction orthogonal to the X direction is the Y direction, the X direction inclines at an angle θ against the conveyance direction of a recording medium, and the nozzle surface has a side along the X direction. The paired inkjet heads are arranged to complement each other so that the number of nozzles forming respective nozzle arrays in mutually adjacent areas of the paired inkjet heads, on a line parallel to the conveyance direction, is constant. The wiring each of the pair of inkjet heads is led out from the side of the nozzle surface along the X direction.
