<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new enzyme and new microorganisms having polylactic acid (PLA) degrading ability, and to provide an efficient PLA-degrading method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a protein containing a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of (a) a polypeptide comprising a specific amino acid sequence derived from the genus Micromonospora and having polylactic acid degrading activity, (b) a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence delated, substituted, added or inserted one or multiple amino acids to a specific amino acid sequence derived from the genus Micromonospora and having polylactic acid degrading activity, and (c) a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence having ≥90% identity with a specific amino acid sequence derived from the genus Micromonospora and having polylactic acid degrading activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
