<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a gap between line images in an image recording technique performing a plurality of times of main scanning in which liquid is jetted from a recording head moving in a main scanning direction to a recording medium for a line image, and forming line images adjacent to each other in a sub scanning direction by main scanning different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device includes a control unit which forms the line images adjacent to each other in the sub scanning direction by the main scanning different from each other by executing the plurality of main scans by executing alternately the main scanning for forming line images for one line which jets the liquid from a recording head while moving the recording head in the main scanning direction and extends to the main scanning direction and the sub scanning for moving the recording head in the sub scanning direction, and a detection unit for detecting displacement to the sub scanning direction of a mark formed on the recording medium. The control unit adjusts the moving amount for moving the recording head in the sub scanning direction by the sub scanning on the basis of the detection result of the detection unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
