<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a non-circular edge-wise coil into a desired shape without deteriorating the alignment property. <P>SOLUTION: A clamp member 4 is integrated with a main shaft 2 provided rotatably and movably in an axial direction, and is opposed to a core metal 3 arranged round the main shaft 2. A wire W is supplied to a U-shaped groove 6 provided between an outer peripheral part of the core metal 3 and a holding part 4a of the clamp member 4, and nipped by the clamp member. A revolution roller 5 arranged on an outer periphery is revolved along the core metal 3, and wound around the U-shaped groove 6, so as to form a semi-circular part C1 of an edge-wise coil C. During supplying the wire W, a non-holding part 4b of the clamp member 4 is made parallel to a feeding direction of the wire W, and the wound edge-wise coil C is removed, so as to mold the edge-wise coil C with a desired shape and a required winding number at a good alignment property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
