<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiving apparatus capable of reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The data receiving apparatus has a receiving circuit 10 and a power reduction circuit 20. The receiving circuit 10 comprises a receiver 11 which receives differential signals 14_1, 14_2, a decoding circuit 12, and a control circuit 13. The power reduction circuit 20 turns on the receiver 11 in accordance with the timing when the receiving circuit 10 starts receiving data, and turns off the receiver 11 in accordance with the timing when the receiving circuit 10 completes reception of the data. The control circuit 13 turns off the power reduction circuit 20 in accordance with the timing when the receiving circuit 10 starts receiving data, and turns off the power reduction circuit 20 in accordance with the timing when the receiving circuit 10 completes reception of the data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
