<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus able to correctly exert feedback control even in an output dead zone resulting from PWM drive control and able to further improve accuracy in a hand shake correction process. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: a movable part 1251 having an imager 101 and able to be moved by a motor in a direction orthogonal to a photographing optical axis; a position detecting part 1252 that detects the position of the imager as a detected value; a target value calculating part 1241 that detects a target value corresponding to an amount of shake of an imaging apparatus body, caused by hand shake; a calculating part 1043 that obtains a duty ratio by calculating a difference between the detected value and target value in order to exert the feedback control by use of PWM drive control; and a drive part 1254 that drives the movable part 1251 by causing an electric current corresponding to the duty ratio to flow in the motor 1255. The calculating part 1043 is provided with a correction part 1043H that removes an output dead zone by correcting the duty ratio obtained by the difference between the detection value and target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
