<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that performs monitoring processing while continuing communication. <P>SOLUTION: An RF filter unit 20, a switching unit 22, a reception amplifying unit 24, a down-converter 26, an STF synchronizing unit 28, and a reception processing unit 32 receive a packet signal by use of a plurality of antennas. A transmission processing unit 38, an up-converter 40, a transmission amplifying unit 42, the switching unit 22, and the RF filter unit 20 transmits a packet signal by use of antennas, the number of which is less than the number of the plurality of antennas, among the plurality of antennas.
