IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for creating printed materials with excellent image quality in a stable manner without density failure or fogging.

SOLUTION: An image forming method includes the steps of: transferring a toner image formed on a photoreceptor on an image support to create a printed material; and supplying toner to a developing device on the basis of the measurement result of a toner density detection unit. The toner used is obtained by coating a styrene-acrylic modified polyester shell obtained by coupling a styrene-acrylic copolymer chain to a polyester chain on the surface of a styrene-acrylic copolymer core.
