<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator and motor capable of reducing a difference in magnetic resistance of a tooth in a radial direction, in a stator and motor having a segment coil. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 6 has: an armature core 7 having an annular part 8 and a plurality of teeth 9 extending from the annular part 8 radially inside; and a segment coil 13 configured by electrically connecting a plurality of segment conductors 12 provided so as to penetrate through slots S between the teeth 9 in an axial direction.
