<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption while improving power consumption reduction achievement intentions of whole users of a system by making clear how much the power consumption of a plurality of image forming devices is being reduced as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding devices of which the present state is a ready state, device IDs are sorted in an order starting from a smallest value Wk/PPMk proportional to power consumption per page, and records containing the percentage of deviation of the values of Wk/PPMk of the devices with respect to an average value of W/PPM for all the image forming devices, device type and a device performance such as whether color printing is possible, are displayed as a recommended order. On the other hand, the percentage of deviation of a value of present total power consumption with respect to a present target value is also displayed, thereby selecting an image forming device while comparing both the deviations and considering the performances. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
