COMPOSITE ADSORBENT FOR ADSORBING CESIUM, FILTER, AND COLUMN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite adsorbent with excellent handleability and high adsorption capability for removal of radioactive cesium, a filter having the composite adsorbent, and a column filled with the composite adsorbent.

SOLUTION: A composite adsorbent for adsorbing cesium comprises (a) a composite diamond fine particle composed of a diamond fine particle carrying a ferrocyanic metallic compound and/or a ferricyanide metallic compound, and/or (b) a composite carbon nano-tube composed of a carbon nano-tube carrying a ferrocyanic metallic compound and/or a ferricyanide metallic compound, and a porous material.
