<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of avoiding a situation where no operation can be accepted because an input device becomes uncontrollable after update of a program. <P>SOLUTION: An operation checking time is allowed at the start of controlling a control target using an updated program, and determination is made as to whether the control target operating normally or abnormally in the operation checking time.
