<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for specifying a moving trajectory of a visual field range of a line camera from an image of the line camera, and generating an overall image of a road surface, precisely. <P>SOLUTION: A road surface image processing system includes: a vehicle; a first line camera mounted on the vehicle to image the road surface in a first visual field range which is long in one direction; a second line camera mounted on the vehicle to image the road surface in a second visual field range that is long in one direction and crosses the first visual field range; means for instructing repeated imaging to the first and second line cameras, according to the traveling distance of the vehicle; means for searching for an affine transformation parameter that gives the highest matching degree to an image obtained by affine-transforming an image sequence captured by the first line camera and an image obtained by affine-transforming an image sequence captured by the second line camera; and means for calculating an advancing direction of a point where the first and second visual field ranges cross each other, on the basis of the searched affine transformation parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
