<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a motor which can reduce operating time by improving ease of operation during manufacturing of the motor by decreasing the number of processes, and can also reduce current-carrying failure of the motor; and a method of manufacturing the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 10 includes: a substantially cylindrical case 20 having an opening 21 and a support part 22 opposed to the opening 21; an armature 30 having a core 32 and a commutator 33 fixed to a rotary shaft 31 so as to be unrotatable relative to the rotary shaft 31; a brush holder 40 having brushes 45a and 45b disposed movably forward and backward in a radial direction that is a direction of the commutator 33; and a bracket 50. When torsion springs 60a and 60b are disposed on the brush holder 40, the torsion springs 60a and 60b are brought near the brush holder 40 from an upper side opposite the case 20, and the torsion springs 60a and 60b are inserted into support shafts 42a and 42b, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
