<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve sufficient downsizing of a shift mechanism used for an image blur correction device and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A shift mechanism includes: a base member 101; a movable member 103 that is movable in a first direction with respect to the base member; a support member 104 that performs positioning of the movable member with respect to the base member in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a magnet member 105 that is provided at one of the base member and the movable member; and a ferromagnetic member 106 that is provided at the other of the base member and the movable member and exerts a magnetic attraction force between the ferromagnetic member and the magnet member in the second direction.
