<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device compact by promoting heat exchange between superheated steam and spray water, quickly reducing the temperature of superheated steam and shortening the evaporation section of the spray water in a superheated steam desuperheater for reducing the temperature of superheated steam by spraying water into a pipe through which the superheated steam passes from a nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: The superheated steam desuperheater includes an inner pipe 2, and an outer pipe 3 disposed to surround the inner pipe 2. From a nozzle 4, water is sprayed to a tip side in the inner pipe 2. Superheated steam is passed into the inner pipe 2 and a cylindrical space 5 between the inner pipe 2 and the outer pipe 3. The spray water from the nozzle 4 is, even when a part sticks or stays in the wall surface of the inner pipe 2 (particularly, at a lower part) without being atomized, heated by the superheated steam in or outside the inner pipe 2 and prompted to evaporate, and thus the superheated steam is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
