<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which prevents the degradation of fuel cells while also increasing the system efficiency of a fuel cell system, and a vehicle incorporating the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: When a voltage Vbat of a battery 20 is any voltage outside a range of oxidation-reduction progress voltages of a fuel cell 40, an ECU 24 controls a DC/DC converter 22 in a direct coupled state äVbat≈Vfc}, while also controlling gas supply means so that the oxygen or hydrogen concentration supplied to the fuel cell 40 will track the target electric power to be generated which is determined based on the electric power required for a load 33. As a result, degradation of the fuel cell 40 is prevented, and power losses associated with step-up/down of the DC/DC converter 22 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
