<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device capable of being driven with lower voltage as compared with conventional ones, a manufacturing method thereof and an electronic apparatus therewith. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device 100 comprises: a substrate 50; a partition wall 12 for dividing a space on the substrate 50 into a plurality of cells 13; a dispersion liquid 20 including electrophoretic particles 21 charged in each of the plurality of cells 13; and a sealing film 30 for sealing the plurality of cells 13. The sealing film 30 comprises: a first ionic polymerizable surfactant 31 arranged on the surface of the dispersion liquid 20; a second ionic polymerizable surfactant 32 having an opposite polarity to the first polymerizable surfactant 31; a third polymerizable surfactant 33; and a polymer film 36 obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer between the second polymerizable surfactant 32 and the third polymerizable surfactant 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
