<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof mat which can prevent displayed items on a display shelf from being dropped and broken by vibration due to earthquake and the like and also allows the displayed items to be taken out without a relatively large force. <P>SOLUTION: On either top or bottom of the mat body 1, a dent section 2 is formed in such a way that a contact area with the displayed items decreases. The mat body 1 is adhered to a shelf board and the like with the side having the dent section 2 up and each displayed item is adhered to the upside of the mat body 1.
