<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve treatment efficiency of exhaust gas by bringing a large amount of exhaust gas into contact with plasma in a plasma generation apparatus which generates plasma in an exhaust passageway. <P>SOLUTION: A plasma generation apparatus 20 includes a plurality of treatment units 25 each including an antenna 27 for radiating an electromagnetic wave and a net-like member 40 in which the electromagnetic wave radiated from the antenna 27 is confined and a space where plasma is generated by the electromagnetic wave is internally formed. In the plasma generation apparatus 20, the plasma is generated inside each of the treatment units 25 disposed in an exhaust passageway 30, and plasma treatment is performed on exhaust gas passing through the respective treatment units 25. In each of the treatment units 25 of the plasma generation apparatus 20, the net-like member 40 is formed into approximately circular shape when viewed from an exhaust gas circulating direction in the exhaust passageway 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
