<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indication lamp capable of down sizing in a thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: The indication lamp includes: an apparatus body 1 having a cuboid shape formed with an indication opening 11; an indication panel 2 made of a translucent material, which is fixed to the apparatus body 1 to cover the indication opening 11; and a light source block 3 that is held inside the apparatus body 1 to illuminate the indication panel 2. The light source block 3 includes: plural light emitting diodes 31 aligned in a line; and a light distribution member 32 made of a translucent material to distribute the light emitted from the respective light emitting diodes 31. Viewing from the light emitting diodes 31, the light distribution member 32 covers at least the indication opening 11. Viewing from a direction perpendicular to the opening plane of the indication opening 11 (right/left direction in the figure), the light source block 3 is held at a position where is shielded at the side of the indication opening 11. Compared to the case where the indication panel 2 is illuminated from a thickness direction, the indication lamp can be reduced in the size in the thickness direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
