<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid cylinder mechanism which when a piston is pulled into a cylinder and brought into the locking state, can holds the locking state without being accompanied actually with a piston return operation. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid cylinder mechanism 1 includes: a cylinder 10 including a base end 12 and an open end 11; and a piston 20 including a flange portion 21 disposed inside the cylinder and a rod portion 25 passing through the open end of the cylinder. A space inside the cylinder is partitioned into a first pressure chamber 14 on a side of the base end and a second pressure chamber 15 on a side of the open end by the flange portion of the piston. The fluid cylinder mechanism further includes: a first flow path 22 which allows a fluid to flow from the first pressure chamber to the second pressure chamber; a second flow path 32 which allows the fluid to flow from the second pressure chamber to the first pressure chamber; and an opening/closing means 35 which opens/closes the second flow path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
